How does Parcl work?

The Parcl Data Feed tracks the price per square foot of neighborhoods across the U.S. This data feeds into a smart contract, allowing users to invest in the underlying price movement of each real estate market. This lets investors gain exposure to the most sought-after neighborhoods with no minimum investment, immediate liquidity, and low transaction fees. 

With Parcl you can build your dream real estate portfolio and trade your favorite neighborhoods just like you would Bitcoin, Ethereum or other crypto assets. 

What You’ll Do:

• Help operationalize Parcl’s machine learning models for different business lines and implement data drift and other monitoring models
• Work alongside data engineers to obtain, process and parse data from multiple sources and turn it into actionable insights
• Conduct in-depth data analyses that reveal key insights about the fluctuations of prices of our proprietary Parcls across multiple protocols and platforms 
• Help in the development of data visualizations to present insights to internal and external audiences
• Develop leading edge location analytics from geographic data streams
• Develop forecasting models to understand and predict the evolution of real estate activity

Skills & Attributes You’ll Need:

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or relevant work experience working in data science, spatial data analysis and time series
• Experience developing production-level Python
• Experience with MLOps or ML at scale
• Familiarity with Spark and/or Snowflake
• Experience in the development of production level models in R/Python
• Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Network Science 
• Excellent knowledge of SQL working with large datasets
• Demonstrated experience creating automated, reproducible insights and models in a fast-moving data environment with little supervision
• Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude, eager to learn and ability to change direction quickly

Skills We’d Love you to Bring:

• An interest and curiosity in crypto, DeFi, synthetic real estate, and Web3
• Experience with:

• analysis of blockchain data 
• deep learning models for computer vision
• working with dbt
• cloud automation tools such as Terraform or AWS Cloudformation
• AWS services such as S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, EMR, AWS Glue, etc.
